To move sideways, dimmed by negative sentiment from externals but window dressing will shore it up

Market outlook & strategy
The SET is likely to move sideways at 1,578-1,600, pressured by externals: 1) rising bond yield, 2) US dollar appreciation that will lead to fund outflow and 3) further fall in oil prices. However, today is the final day of window dressing, which will support the market. We expect the market to pull back from the upside limit at 1,600. For core portfolios we suggest putting 25% in stocks when the market consolidates at 1,450-1,470. Speculation should be focused on stocks with a catalyst.
